Reiter scientific expertise is in molecular immunology and immunotherapy of cancer and autoimmune diseases. His laboratory combines basic and translational research in understanding the control of immune function in health and disease. These studies are combined with translational approach to develop novel immunotherapies that combine protein engineering and gene therapy approach leading to the development of engineered antibodies and cellular therapy. Strong relationships with biopharma and entrepreneurship leading to moving his lab readers into a start up company and now on the path to clinical trials. Served twice as the dean of the faculty of biology and currently the head of the Lorry Lokey interdisciplinary center for life sciences and engineering and heads the recently established wide Technion initiative in human health.
